What the job involves
Hardware-only repairs of laptop computers. Each repair job follows these steps.
- Coordinate the site visit. Schedule the visit with the onsite POC and maintain timely communication.
- Make the repair. Perform hardware-only repairs of laptop computers using manuals and training videos.
- Submit your report. Complete and submit the site visit report to our customer within 24 hours.
- Ship the broken parts. Coordinate with FedEx or DHL to ship broken parts back to the maintenance contractor using prepaid labels.
Applicant requirements
Applicants should meet the requirements below.
- Be legally authorized to live and work in the host country; this position does not provide SOFA sponsorship.
- Be SOFA sponsored or have unescorted access to the military installation where the work will be performed.
- Hold a valid driver's license that permits driving on base.
- Be willing to work as an independent contractor.
- Be able to perform hardware-only repairs of laptop computers using manuals and training videos. Experience with computer hardware, particularly laptops, is desirable but not necessary.
- Coordinate site visits with onsite POCs and submit site visit reports within 24 hours.
